Branding Your HeinOnline Account

Branding your HeinOnline account is an effective way to communicate to your users that this valuable resource is available to them through support and funding from your organization. Branding your HeinOnline account is free and allows you to display a link containing your organization’s name on the HeinOnline Welcome Page:

HeinOnline welcome page with Yale branding

This links your users to a page containing your logo, and custom links to your online catalog, help desk or other frequently utilized resources.

Branding also offers the option of linking to your library’s catalog for law reviews that are embargoed in HeinOnline by enabling ISSN and/or OpenURL link resolvers. If we cannot provide the full text of an article, this linking will help your users determine if material is available elsewhere in your library. Additionally, if you use a proxy and provide us the prefix and suffix (if necessary) to your proxy URL, we can create links specific to your proxy server in e-TOC alert e-mails. This will enable off-site users to access the material without being redirected to the HeinOnline login page.
