You can search by volume date in the Law Journal Library when narrowing your search down. Begin by using the Advanced Search option at the top of the main page. You can use the Date field to specify a certain date and other searching options to narrow down the results.
Example: Search for works by Elizabeth Warren that were published in 2002.
You can also search using the one-box search bar at the top of the page. From here you would type voldate:2002 AND author:”Warren, Elizabeth” and then hit the search button.
