To search across the description of a document in the Taxation and Economic Reform in America Parts I & II database, click on the Advanced Search option at the top of the main page. Enter a keyword or phrase, and then select Description from the drop down menu. No quotations are necessary for a single term.
Example: Search for the term “financial holding companies” across documents that are classified as “reports on the law.”

On the results page, users will see the document title, document description, and all matching text.

You can also search using the One-Box search bar at the top of the main page. From here, you would enter description:”reports on the law” AND “financial holding companies” and select the Just search for option.
