Customize Your Institution’s Popular Databases
HeinOnline now allows institutional administrators to customize the Popular Databases section on their welcome page via MyHein. This enhancement lets libraries highlight the databases most relevant to their users, rather than displaying a one-size-fits-all list of platform-wide popular content.
Enhancements:
- Modified the display order on the search results page so VMTP (View Matching Text Pages) appears before AI Summaries.
- Updated PDF downloads to exclude the AI Summary.
- Implemented updates to serial citations across the Cite and PinCite pages to comply with the 18th edition of The Chicago Manual of Style.
- Implemented updates to serial citations across the Cite and PinCite pages to comply with the 22nd edition of The Bluebook.
Bug Fixes
- Addressed a bug causing the one-box search menu to fail to display when invoking the + syntax.
- Updated the U.S. Congressional Serial Set “H” icon to display correctly by changing it from blue to red, increasing its size, and adding descriptive hover text.
