How to Determine Changes in the U.S. Code

To determine if there were any changes in the U.S. Code since the last bound volume, we can search across the supplement volumes. For our example, let’s see if any amendments, changes, or updates have been made to 21 USC 355a since the 2006 edition of the US Code was published. To begin, we will want to search Supplement volumes. Navigate to the Advanced Search option within the U.S. Code database.

Next, let’s search for the title number, section, and word supplement as shown below:

Next, refine results to include the date 2006 to 2022. Then, find the Supplement volumes and select Turn to page to see if any changes have been.
