Downloading PDF article results in a blank page and/or blank screen.
This behavior within HeinOnline is seen when your Internet Explorer Security Settings are set at the “High” level. To best resolve this issue and keep your security settings, we suggest adding HeinOnline as a “Trusted Site.” To configure HeinOnLine as a trusted site, do the following:
- Open Internet Explorer
- Choose Tools from the menu bar
- Choose Internet Options
- Choose the Security Tab
- Select Trusted Sites
- Click the Sites button
- In the Add this Web site to the Zone box, type *.heinonline.org
- Uncheck the box labeled Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone
- Click OK
When this is complete, the next time you visit HeinOnline, you should see in the lower right-hand corner of your browser that HeinOnline is now a trusted site.
