On January 31, 2017 Judge Neil Gorsuch of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit was officially nominated by President Donald J. Trump to fill the U.S. Supreme Court vacancy. The vacancy was created by the passing of Justice Antonin Scalia last year on February 13, 2016.

HeinOnline's Author Profile Pages allow users to view an author's list of articles and ScholarCheck rankings. Metrics used to calculate an author's overall ScholarCheck ranking already included the number of times that author's articles have been cited by other articles, by articles written only in the past 10 years, and by cases, along with the number of times the articles have been accessed by other HeinOnline users within a rolling 12-month period.

How to Access
There are two ways to access the profile page for a particular author. First, simply search for that author using the advanced search bar on the Law Journal Library homepage:

HeinOnline has added an exciting new metric to its ScholarCheck author rankings! In addition to calculating the number of times an author has been cited by other articles in HeinOnline, by cases, and the number of times accessed in the past 12 months, the number of times an author has been cited only by articles published in the past 10 years will now be calculated. Each metric will account for one quarter of the author's overall ScholarRank.

We have added a new e-mail alert option to our author profile pages! In addition to setting up a notification for when new material by a certain author is added to HeinOnline, users can now be advised when that author's existing works are cited by new articles. Simply click an author's name from search results, and click Set up e-mail alerts from the author's profile:
